Point of Sales and Inventory Management System project is developed using PHP, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. Speaking about the project, it has all the necessary points needed for a POS and Inventory system. This project contains an admin side where Admin can handle deals, products, suppliers, clients and manage users. The Admin plays an significant role in the administration of the system. In this project, all the main roles are done from the Admin side.

About System

The Admin has full authority of the system, all the gatherings are to be performed from Admin panel. Here, the admin can handle businesses, the user has to enter customer’s name and cash price. After that, the system gives the sales record which includes item code, name, amount, price, commission and amount. After a sale of a certain item, the system automatically presents profit amount. The user can CRUD products. For this, he/she has to provide item name, division, arrival, expiry date, selling, new price, supplier and quantity. Each stock must be stored under a certain level, the user has to provide a category name to add a category.

The system also allows managing clients. The user should give the customer’s name, location, customer, stock name, total, note, and the expected date. The suppliers also have CRUD features. In request to add a supplier, the user has to give the supplier’s name, address, contact person, contact number and note. The sales reports can be seen easily and the last feature of this project is about User Management. The admin can add users according to their opinions. Design of this project is so easy so that user won’t find it complicated to understand, use and navigate.

How To Run??

Next Starting Apache and MySQL in XAMPP, follow the following steps

1st Level: Extract file

2nd Level: Copy the main project folder

3rd Level: Paste in xampp/htdocs/

Immediately Connecting Database

4th Level: Start a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin/”

5th Level: Then, click on databases tab

6th Level: Design database naming “posales” and then click on import tab

7th Level: Click on browse file and picked “posales.sql” file which is inside “DATABASE” folder

8th Level: Click on go.

After Creating Database,

9th Level: Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/PISP/”

Enter the username and password which is given inside the “Readme.txt” file.

LOGIN DETAILS ARE Given IN “Readme.txt” FILE INSIDE THE PROJECT FOLDER
